Immigration Evaluations

I specialize in providing comprehensive clinical evaluations for immigration proceedings. I work collaboratively with your attorney to best serve your needs. 

A comprehensive clinical evaluation conducted by a licensed mental health professional with years of experience working with immigrant families can make a considerable difference in your case. I offer extensive expertise working with specific types of cases such as extreme hardship (waivers, provisional waivers and cancellations of removal cases), domestic violence (VAWA), and victims of crime (U-Visa). 

In my work with you and your family I address hardship issues through a thorough evaluation, which includes review of your history, medical documents, and interviews with yourself and frequently other family members.  Various mental health issues including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, domestic violence and post-traumatic stress experiences are all conditions that can be objectively evaluated through my evaluation, the results of which are described within my written report and/or by my testimony. 

I have extensive experience in conducting these evaluations and communicating the results. I also have experience testifying in immigration court.

Clinical Supervision

One of my passions is providing clinical supervision! I offer clinical supervision for clinicians wanting to improve their clinical skills as well as for those new social work graduates with an associate license (LCSWA) who need to meet the supervision requirement for their full license (LCSW).  I hold a Certification in Clinical Supervision through the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
